Update On 2020 National Winners Competing at 2021 MOS and ACA World Championship!
Deadline for 2020 national competitions and identification of National Champions extended to December 15.
Government regulations and other restrictions related to COVID-19 have caused plans on the identification of national champions to be disrupted. The pandemic has caused additional complications and added interruptions to partners’ plans.
Therefore, Certiport has decided to extend the deadline to December 15, 2020 for partners to submit names of their 2020 National Champions that they plan to sponsor to compete at the 2021 ACA and MOS World Championships. Names of students submitted after the December 15, 2020 deadline will not be eligible to participate as 2020 competitors at the 2021 World Championship. Certiport will not make any exceptions.
As a reminder, the 2021 MOS and ACA World Championship is planned to be held in Orlando, Florida. The approved 2020 National Champions will compete alongside the 2021 National Champions in the same exam tracks at the 2021 World Championships. Additional details are listed below:
Cameroon is allowed to bring a maximum of 12 MOS students per country. This could include six 2020 National Winners and six 2021 National Winners, one per exam track per qualifying year (ie., Word, Excel & PowerPoint 2016 & 2019 - two students per track, one from 2020 and one from 2021 in each track).
Cameroon is allowed to bring a maximum of six ACA students per country. This could include three 2020 National Winners and three 2021 National Winners.
If a 2020 National Champion exceeds the age limit next year, Certiport will still grant permission for the student to compete at the 2021 World Championships.
Certiport reserves the right to modify, alter, or cancel the 2021 World Championship should it become commercially untenable due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis
